Thanks to NFPA 1500 every fire department must have a member assistance program! Check with your fire department to see what program they offer. These programs can provide you access to basic counseling needs at no cost to you!
INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIREFIGHTERS
The IAFF has resources available for firefighters who are struggling with addiction and substance abuse, PTSD, depression, and suicidal ideations. All calls are completely confidential and staffed 24/7.
